Dignity in Dementia Training
Creative Approaches Person-centered Solutions
 is a formalized educational experience that incorporates team building, interactive learning, and hands-on coaching. It is a systems changing process that enables care to be given in a manner that preserves the individual resident’s dignity, and achieves and maintains their highest level of function while addressing and reducing challenging behaviors.
 is designed to:
- Heighten staff sensitivity to potential unmet needs of residents with dementia
- Develop effective communication skills which can enhance relationships of trust between residents, families and caregivers
- Increase awareness of environmental elements that can enrich quality of life
- Develop strategic plans to implement new approaches in care practices for improved resident outcomes
- Develop team-based practices that will transition to delivery of person-centered care for all residents regardless of their diagnoses
- Customize programs to meet the needs of individual organizations
All  educational sessions offer CEUs for nurses, administrators and activity professionals.
